airports in France

We are going on a 2-week trip to Paris and Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, & possibly Seville/Cordoba), flying in and out of CDG. Coming back from Spain, we would like to fly directly back into CDG to catch our 2:20 PM connection. I found a connection from Barcelona on Vueling that would get us into CDG at 10 AM, but if we want to come back from Madrid or Seville it looks like our options are either to arrive the night before or fly into a different airport. Does anyone know how far Orly and Beauvais are from CDG, and whether there are shuttles that go from airport to airport?

Thanks for any help!

I assume you've checked all the budget connections using www.skyscanner.net

There are shuttles directly from Orly to CDG as I recall. Orly is closer to CDG than Beauvais.

There is a bus transfer service from Beauvais into Paris

Thanks, Dukey. Do you have any idea what a taxi might cost from Orly to CDG?

Air France bus #3 goes directly between CDG and Orly. Buses run every 30 minutes and the cost is E16.00. For slightly faster and more frequent service (with one change) take the RER B train between CDG and the Antony RER station and the Orlyval driverless shuttle train between Antony and Orly. The cost is E16.75. A taxi between the airports will cost at leaat E60. (Delays because of heavy traffic could make it a lot more.)

Thanks for the info! About how much time should we allow for the trip by train? The seems like the best option because it isn't dependent on traffic conditions.

The RER from CDG to Antony takes just under an hour. It's eight minutes on the Orlyval from Antony to Orly.

Be aware that there are two RER stations at CDG. CDG 1 serves Terminal 1 (via free shuttle bus) and Terminal 3 (walkable). CDG 2 TGV is at Terminal 2.

The Orlyval goes to both Orly Ouest and Orly Sud.

The Air France buses have GPS systems so they can avoid traffic problems.
