Hi the5hodges,

What are their ages and interests? Where else will you/they have been on this trip? What time of year is the trip?

There are castles, mountains, museums, shops, lakes, lakeside towns, churches, etc, within easy train distance; easy to rent bikes or skates if that's their thing. If you give us a little more information, we can help point you in the right direction.

Have fun as you plan!

Have you asked them to explore their options and say what they would most enjoy? It might be a great way to start planning your time there.

In summer, the swimming baths in the lake and in the river Limmat are very good. In the evening, the Frauenbad turns into a kind of nightclub - will be cool for the teenagers!

Give them money and turn them loose. Let them explore on their own. Zurich is a safe, easy to manage city.

April. So no swimming. Let them loose is probably the best what you can do. There are a lot of things to explore and to discover in the Old Town.
