What to do in Barcelona in the rain?!!

We will arrive in Barcelona next Friday, May 4 for the weekend (3 nights). We planned on strolling the city, enjoying the outdoor cafes, people watching and admiring the superb architecture. The weather forecast looks like mostly rain. Our intricate 3 day itinerary does not include any sights indoors.

Please help me come up with a list of activities to enjoy if it rains.

Keep your fingers crossed that the front pushing across Spain will disappear by our arrival!

Online weather forecasts have been wrong for almost every trip we've ever taken. I really wouldn't worry, especially not nearly 10 days in advance!

The same things you were going to do before but with an unbrella or a raincoat. It rained every day we were in Venice...it didn't stop us.

The same as you'd do if it wasn't raining - but with an umbrella or rain coat

picasso museum is indoors, gaudi houses are indoors, sagrada familia is indoors - you'll be outdoors between sites but that is about it. just buy an umbrella or take a jacket with a hood. not a big deal.

It poured rain for two of the four days we were there on our honeymoon. Didn't matter a bit! We just got out umbrellas out, used the hop-on/hop-off bus when it was really coming down and just kept on going with our plans! Have fun, I am sure the weather will be great though!
