EF is known for student itineraries. You will have a very rapid itinerary--which means you see a lot but do not stay a long time in each place.

Why don't you give a link to the tour so people can review and offer comments.

My granddaughter went to Europe with EF and was disappointed that meals were "Americanized" such as burgers, not local which she expected.

You can expect to move fast, long days on the bus, short stays at the sights and meals to be very basic (usually at the hotel and will be either the local version of american food or an american version of local food).

Little free time during the day and hotels at the far outskirts of whatever town you are visiting. If you want to visit the towns themselves in the evening - for student pubs or clubs - you will probably need to arrange either a shared taxi or check on local buses (but do make sure what hours they run).

Local drinking age is younger than the US - often 16 for beer/wine - but risks are the same as here (never leave a drink unattended - roofies are everywhere - or EVER let go of your purse or daypack.)

There are many threads in Fodors about EF generally, not sure about Ireland specifically.

For example http://www.fodors.com/community/euro...nt-experie.cfm

You may want to put EF in search box and see what comes up.

Ireland never had to invent slow travel. An EF rush tour sounds weird in Ireland. How old will you be by the time this tour starts, you might do better just doing it on your own or with friends.

Many teens in Europe also eat burgers and fries. Just so you know.
