Thanks, Maitai, for sharing. I may just use your itinerary as the basis for a trip. I am not up to all your steps, or as much in a day, but it looks like you had a lot of fun.
BTW, I know you have been to many places. I know it is asking a lot, so understand if you don't want to bother, but if you would, could you name your possibly top five or so, just for sake of comparison by such an avid traveler, and perhaps a couple of your least favorites, and why. Prague keeps coming to the top on DH's travel wish list, but countries like Slovenia and Morocco, and the island of Sicily are mine. We need to make some choices about our next trip.

opps, too quick.
When we visit a grave [past the one year grieving period and after what is called an unveiling [of the headstone or marker] which is the first time we revisit the grave after burial] we do NOT bring flowers. We place a pebble or small rock on the headstone or market.
When I visit my parents grave in Florida, I leave seashells as my dad was an avid sport fisherman and my mom love the ocean.

Along the theme of the Charles Bridge at an uncrowded time: We stayed in an apt a couple blocks from the bridge in Mala Strana. Our last night in Prague we had actually gotten ready for bed and I took one last peek out the window at the street all light up. It was so pretty that we got dressed and headed to the bridge to see what it looked like at night. It was just before midnight and the towers at either end were still lit up. The lights on the bridge reflected off the water. It was beautiful. Just a few couples walking hand in hand. No tripods in sight. Very wonderful memory.

I have made numerous visit to Prague and my next one in in May this year.
I personally love walking in the parks of Prague, Letna being a real favourite as I can finish my stroll at the great beer garden there with stunning views across the city.

These are all great suggestions (except for the cheap tobacco ad -- already triangled the mods about that one). AFTER doing those, maybe a visit to the historic Moser glass store:

There is a more modern store/gallery on the Old Town Square

but I prefer the historic one.

" could you name your possibly top five or so…"
sassafrass, I'd be happy to, but why don't you click on the "Contact us" on my website below so as to not hijack this Prague thread. Thanks.

Maitaitom, Thanks. Will do. Just went to your website and, I think, reading more of your trip reports will give me what I want. If not, I will ask questions. Thank you so much for all the time you take to write about travel.
