Cambodia will always be my favorite -- Angkor Wat at dawn or the Bayon at any time. Vietnam is next on the list -- the town of Hoi An is my total paradise. The street of Le Loi on a foggy or rainy night, with all of the shops selling silk lanterns, lit for the occasion, makes me dizzy with ecstasy. The thought of an evening spent at the Tam Tam Café makes me weak with anticipation for my next trip (the 4th).
And yet, I chose to live in Paris, which is not quite the trashiest city in the world.

Germany: Kaiserslautern (was stationed at Ramstein Air Base), Munich, Landstuhl, Frankfurt, Cologne, Heidelburg, Trier, Berlin (before and after the Berlin Wall came down) and numerous places in the nearby area. *Germany is my all-time favorite country. Great hiking, food and drink. It was a wonderful place to be stationed at.

Italy: Venice. I spent two weeks along the coast. Can't remember where all I went.

Netherlands: Amsterdam. Loved Amsterdam. Took my mother-in-law with my family a few years ago. Great food, easy to get around and lovely. Stayed at the best B&B who treated us like family.

Lichenstein

Luxembourg

Canada: Montreal, Toronto, & Ottawa

France: Strasbourg and Paris

Switzerland: Bus trip, just passed through with brief stops.

Austria: Vienna, I think.

England: London. Our recent trip to Europe was Paris & London in June. It was hot, crowded and not the best time of year to visit. Did the usual tourist things.

USA:

Grand Canyon
San Diego
San Francisco - my favorite US city.
Portland, Oregon
Boston
Syracuse, Rochester, Albany, NYC, Utica & Buffalo, NY
Niagara Falls
Taos & Albuerque, NM
Flagstaff, AZ
Burlingon, VT
List seems short, sure I am forgetting much at the moment.

Maryland - numerous places.
Pennsylvania - numerous places.
Virginia - numerous places.

Kansas
Iowa
Michigan
Nebraska
Indiana
Illinois

I am quite certain that I missed a few states (roundtrip roadtrip from Syracuse, NY to Colorado). We've done this twice. Once on vacation and then again when we moved out here.

Hi

Having travelled lots privately and for business, I was very impressed by the Chiang Kai Shek Memorial in Taiwan.

But then, you have to think about barrier reef, grand canyon, Korea, etc !
