What a trip!

Thanks Epcotmikey for your itinerary. Our family is planning a self drive trip to Ireland in June and trying to plan a route. I liked your opinions of what you saw. Gives us some ideas of what we want to see in each area. Did you buy a tour from a company with vouchers or did you make your own reservations on the net before your trip? We are trying to decide which way to go. Thanks for your help.

LLLovett: I don't know how you expect to attract epcotmonkey )or anyone w/ info re Ireland) with a title like "What a trip!"

It is best to tack your question on to a thread epoctmonkey is alread on - OR - start a thread w/his name in the title.

Epcotmikey posted a trip report this morning. The thread title is "What a trip!". I suspect this was meant as a response to that thread.

This is my first time using Fodor's, so I'm not familiar with how things are done yet. Thanks for the advice. To janisi: I thought your reference about epcotmonkey was an insult to epcotmikey who posted his itinerary to help those who are trying to plan a trip. I think this is a great and helpful site. Everyone should try to be considerate of those using it.

"I thought your reference about epcotmonkey was an insult to epcotmonkey"

WHAT on Earth are you talking about?

I said absolultely nothing about Epcotmonkey. I was simply trying to tell you if you want him to see your post you need to tack it on to a thread he is already on - or put "epcotmonkey" in your title.

My advice still stands . . . .

I have to say I've had a few chuckles over this too, SeaUrchin! But I'm sure it explains why the OP felt janis was being disrespectful. And just as sure that she just misread the name.

Well, Welcome to Fodors LLLovett! As you can see, when you ask for advice it does come in all forms.

When you join or sign on there is a little box you can choose which will explain the "do-don'ts" and "how-tos" of the forum. Taking a look at that will help you navigate the forum smoothly.

The positives far outweigh the negatives here so again, Welcome!

Of course it should have been epcotmikey!

But for SLLovett (or is is LLLovett - note the different screen names) - my goodness, what a reaction.
