Westin, Dublin
Looking for hotels xmas week. Figure that the Westin, while not original, does have a guarantee that there will be a king comfortable bed, have service over the holiday, be in a safe area and be in general easy.

Its lovely and the sunday brunch while pricey was raved about by friends. Its a buffet with a glass of champagne. Bear in mind it can get very quiet for a few days around Xmas. Christmas eve I love to walk around grafton street and check out the last minute shopping and go for a drink with my other half. It's something we do every year just the two of us. Pubs will close early in the city centre on Xmas eve as most people go to their local at home in the suburbs. The hotel can give you some more info I am sure. Also the day after Xmas is St. Stephens day and everything is closed except for the conema. Pubs open that evening again but not all will in the city centre. The day after St Stephens day is the start of the sales and get in early for shopping. I usually go by eight am and leave by 12pm when it starts getting packed. Some restaurants will close a few days after Christmas.
