Hi Mari!!To answer your questions, no I didn't try the almond croissant, but knowing Paul's I'm sure they are as delicious as the raisin croissant or any other pastries they bake over there.
And yes, I was the one who wrote about that huge traffic jam on all routes to Monaco. Thank God we weren't going there. How long did it take you to reach Monaco because it was bumper to bumper for miles???The autoroute from Cannes up until the Monaco-Eze exit was a breeze, though. Hope you had a nice time in France--yep we were there Bastille Day!!

It never ceases to amaze me that a post like this has 22 responses...lol
Yes, I wrote to the "real" Wendy this morning and am awaiting her response. She is "on the road" and so it may take a little time to hear from her.
Thanks to Betsy and Mellen who are both always helpful and a delight to hear from.

Hello Pam!

THANK YOU for tracking me down and thank you ever so much for the coffee...

You were VERY thoughtful to think of me and to go through so much trouble!

When you asked what I wanted from Paris, I simply said 'coffee'.

Yes, just about ANY product in France is available here in the states, but the fact that you went out of your way to go to my neighborhood store to bring some back from me is what matters here and just goes to show what a truly kind person that you are. I'm really touched!

Hello Betsy and St. Cirq...

Pam, write to me at home, I'm not on the road again til' next month!

Love, Wendy

Wendy,
From personally checking out my hotel in Paris to all the amazing restauarnt recommendations you were a significant factor in helping to make my vacation the trip of a lifetime. I can't thank you enough and certainly some coffee would not begin to cover it.
Enjoy!
