Weekend in Amsterdam with 6 girls

I am planning a trip to Amsterdam for the weekend of Nov. 29- Dec. 2 with 6 of my good friends. We are all 21 and are looking forward to experiencing Amsterdam!! We pretty much have our plane tickets and nothing else, which means I need some suggestions as far as what to see, where to stay, and what to do. I´ve heard that you can rent apartments or house boats for the same price as a hotel, sometimes cheaper for a group is this true? Well any suggestions would be a great help thank you!!

As they say, a lot of things wouldn't get done if it wasn't for the last minute.

Do you have a price range for sleeps and eats. There is something of everything to see and do in Amsterdam. What do you do at home?

You might want to try Craigslist Amsterdam. I noticed they had vacation rentals (though this is something I've never tested out myself).

You're going to have the best time in Amsterdam! I went a couple years a go with a group of six girls as well, and it was such a great weekend!

I highly advise seeing Boom Chicago- it is a comedy show that is really funny. I don't know where it is, but for some reason the square with the Hard Rock is coming to mind.

Also go to Anne Frank's house but before or after that go eat at The Pancake Bakery, it's great!

Walk around the red light district at night, it's pretty crazy to see.

Besides all the fun that Amsterdam has to offer, it is such a quaint city with good shopping, cute streets and tons of character.

Oh, and look into staying at the Marriott- you may be able to get good rates and it's in a good location.

Enjoy!

Don't stay in an international hotel in Amsterdam......

Try the Brouwer's hotel on the canal of the same name. Just off the red light zone, lovely old building with good breakfast. The train from the airport comes into the town cnetre and the walk is maybe 5 minutes.
