Website that gives general overview of flight cost?
Forgive me, but I spent about two hours trying to locate a post that included a link to a website where one could do a search for flights, and it would come up with the average cost of flights for the following eleven or twelve months.
I'm unable to find this site in my history, and in vain, resorted to sorting through a lot of posts and still unable to find the original post.
Can anyone help me with this?

If this is not the one, try "airlines" forum of Fodor's.

If you're interested in a specific destination, you can sometimes find good fares at travelocity.com
Click "Flights"
Click "Dream Maps"
Change the departure city to yours, and the destination to Europe.
Plug in some dates.
Each airline will show discounted fares for periods within your time window (click "Rules" and read Seasons).

Try www.kayak.com
provides all the carriers/flights from one destination to another and summarizes prices; as far out as when prices available, which is usually 331 days (or 11/months)

I guess I should further clarify what this site was...I still haven't seen anything like it.
After entering the origin and destination, a page came up with the next eleven or so months displayed, left to right. Under each month was the cheapest flight from the origin to destination.
Does that ring a bell to anyone?
I've messed around with the Travelocity site, however that's not what I'm looking for. I was looking for an overview of flight costs at various times of the year to a few eastern and western European countries.

Are you looking for prediction? I posted the web address for it on the "airline".
If you're looking for the price history... sorry never heard of it!
Post your question on "airlines" forum of Fodor's, there is a guru RKkwan, if she doesn't know, nobody will
Or there is a website flyertalk, maybe you can get help from them??

rkkwan is a "he", and I'm pretty sure this is the site you're looking for:
www.farecompare.com
I only knew about that feature about a week ago from a Wall Street Journal article.
