weather Paris-Nice beginning of May
Due to Mother's Day then the Grand Prix our trip to France was moved from the end of May to the beginning. I checked the weather sites but would love to hear from your experiences. Packing is my biggest concern. I don't pack well and now I'm worried I have to pack for warm and cold weather.

I was in Nice the last week of April last year and wore a jacket and gloves a couple of days. We had rain several times. I've been to Paris twice in early May and both times were lovely, but with some periods of rain, and an occasional day of rain. Plan to do museums if it rains. If no rain, do the museums in any given local your last days there. Take items you can layer. I was surprised that Nice was a chilly as it was when we were there. Have fun.

Theoretically it should be cool, sunny, and pleasant in May, with occasional rain days interspersed with sunny blue skies. Recent years have seen less rain and a lot more heat (enough to require air conditioning at times), but usually it is pleasant.
