Monica - my dates may change. Since my house in South Carolina closes sometime in May or June (not sure when yet, depending on when they finish building it) I may shorten my May trip to 10 days to give me time to spend in SC for a week afterwards.
if so, it's starting to look like I'll be going to Venice, Florence, Rome closer to the last week in May. If so, it's entirely possible I'll be in Venice around the 22nd! are those dates set in stone?

So near, and yet so far away. Looks like I'm a near miss with just about everybody. Present plans: Rome May 5-9,Venice 9-13, Le Marche 13-20 (trip to Florence during that week), Home out of Venice 21st.

is anyone going in September?
I am beginning to think I'm going to HAVE to go back in September for another trip, I can't take a 2 week trip in May but I can split it up and go in May and September. Maybe I'll concentrate on Tuscany in September and perhaps the Amalfi Coast. thinking...

forgot to add - my May dates changed slightly.
May 20 arrive Venice
May 23 leave for Florence
May 25 morning departure for Tuscany - wineries!
May 27 morning departure for Rome
Leave Rome May 30 afternoon.
May 20 arrive Venice

Thanks Beth for Topping. Reminded me that I changed my itinerary slightly too.
May 11 - 15th Florence
May 15-20th Bologna
May 20- 25th Venice
I found a nice 1-day tour to the Veneto, so I added an extra day to Venice and reduced Bologna by one day.
I'm still planning to meet a few people on the 13th in Florence, a couple in Bologna on the 15th or 16th; Beth on the 21st and Jan and Jean on the 24th.
Anyone else??
