Vuerling airlines

BEWARE - I have flown to Barcelona with Vuerling for the first time. Luggage did not arrive. Hotel tells me this is very common and they are the worst airline for this. 48 hours later - no contact from them, constantly calling, no idea where bag is and completely unhelpful. DONT FLY WITH THEM!

I flew with them this past June. Part of family flew from Palma to Barcelona and the rest of us flew from Palma to Marseille. I have nothing but praise for them. One experience ( perhaps even ours although two different flights ) does not necessarily represent an airline but, good heavens, I'm sure many can offer examples of problems they've had with all the major as well as budget ) airlines.

I fly Vueling a couple of times a year and I always check a bag. So far I have had no problems (except one delayed flight.) Where did you fly from?

Vueling is Barcelona based, with the most flights in and out of there by far, so it makes sense that the hotel hears about them more than any other.

Janisj, I remember when you and Flanner told me about the supposed parking lot between Gatwick and the north so yeah you do know about faulty advice.

I really don't know what you are on about -- the only one of your threads I remember recently re Gatwick was how you should get up to Yorkshire. And I thought I was able to help -- talk about biting the hand.

Next time I'll pass . . .

It's Vueling, not Vuerling, and we fly them occasionally and have never had any issues. We never check luggage, though. Maybe that's an issue. Hotels will tell you anything and are often totally clueless about, or don't care about, how customers actually get to them, as long as they do. So you had one bad experience with one airline...happens every day to thousands of people. Get on with it. Surely you packed a toothbrush and the usual necessaries in your carry-on? If not, study up.

We flew Vueling several times. Most are non stop flights and the prices are very competitive. Hope you'll be reunited with your property.

We've had no issues on Vueling.

Maybe you have bad luggage karma. My daughter's in laws do. Their luggage has been misplaced on some of the world's finest airlines.

A friend's father died in Athens. They shipped him back to his home in the south. The coffin went to Hawaii instead. Dad's last trip.

I could tell you how long it has been since an airline has delayed my luggage, but that would bring immediate bad luck.

You should be aware of flight regulations EU 261/2004.
