>>The answer is . . . not in the post.<< . . . and we aren't likely to find out since JGKSea registered to post her complaint. We probably won't see her again.

We flew Vueling last year from Barcelona to Copenhagen. No problem. They were strict with carry on luggage, i.e. weight and measurements.

I flew with Vueling once and didn't had any issue. They are a low-cost airline. So don't expect much service and they are strict with baggage, etc. but therefore your get the tickets at a very low price.

I am booked to fly with them on Sept 21. I booked directly with them, however they code share with Iberia so if you look at the Iberia flights they are actually operated by Vueling. Only nonstops from Barcelona to Granada. I can change or cancel and rebook on another airline, but have a stop and layover.

I have used them several times over last 5 years.. and most recently about a month ago..

They are fine. Cheap and fine.. read the rules.. and if you want insurance on flight.. buy it and don't complain if you choose not to and then wish you had.. I purchased a type of insurance whereas if my flight was delayed by more then 8 hours I could be reimbursed for a hotel night. Cost was 10 bucks.. whoopee..

BTW.. Airlines are not always the ones who lose your luggage.. ground crews that work for the airport screw up all the time and airlines have to figure out what do do when that happens.. ( my friend works for WestJet)

Note poster said the "Baggage Claim area at Barcelona is chaos". yup.. airport issue..
You can lose a bag on ANY airline and experienced travellers know that.. novices don't .

I don't understand the ranting post above because on one hand she says they cancelled the flight.. then she says they lost her luggage.. so they obviously got on the flight and did not have to pay for an extra ticket

We were booked on a reasonable time daytime flight Seville to Bilbao which they must changed to 10:00pm. We are heading to San Sebastian so this won't work for us now. Back to trip planning and traveling through Madrid or Lisbon.
