Volare Airlines - good? Jet or Prop?

Has anyone actually flown Volare airlines? Are they well-established and respected? They have a one-way fare from Naples to Venice of 19 euros compared with $250 on Alitalia. What type of planes do they fly? Jet or prop?
thanks

Yes they are "respected" and the type of plane depends on the route.
Look, Mr. Excitement....if you can't hack the $250 Alitalia fare then I wouldn't be bitching and moaning about whether you are on a prop or a pure jet.

According to Volare's website, their fleet consists of jets only:
Airbus A330-200
Airbus A320
Airbus A321
Boeing 767-300

Specifically, your route within Italy is served by Airbus A320.

You seem like a pretty nice guy JonJon. Did you name yourself twice so you wouldn't forget it? I don't see any "bitching" and "moaning" here except for you. In fact I can "hack" the Alitalia fare which is exactly why I was asking this question. I'd be more excited about the 19 euros if it was a comfortable A320 rather than an ATR. Thanks in advance loser for not replying again.

For once I agree with JonJon.

People expect to pay virtually nothing, yet want all the frills associated with paying ful price.

It's like expecting a 100GBP suit to have the same cut and quality of a 2500GBP Brioni one.

Yes, but it this case it does - because Volare flys A320 same as Alitalia. I'm sure JonJon is a decent guy, just having a bad day or something.

Hi Mediterraneo

We are booked on Volare on May 1st from Venice to Naples. I was a little nervous making a rsvp because they were so inexpensive then I spoke to a woman in my office who travels to Italy often and asked her about this airline and she said that she had flown on them and they were fine.

Could someone please give me their website address? (When I try volareairlines.com I get something that hooks me up with a million other sites.)

Thank you.

Hi Mediterraneo,
We just booked with them for May 10th, so have not flown them yet!
Same deal 19 euros, and then another 26e in taxes & fees. Still, it looks pretty good compared to Alitalia.
Be well,
pete
