Just an airfare alert...American Airlines is offering a fare of $1135 RT from SLC to Bucharest in July; $860 RT to London. This is better than anything I've found on other sites, including orbitz, expedia, kayak, etc. as well as consolidator sites. Don't know if this is a sale or not, but worth checking.

How did you find these fares? airline website directly or on another search engine???

I found them through the American Airlines site...it came up as a site to check on a Travel Zoo search. I think these are really good...any opinions? Now I'm wondering, does this mean fares are dropping, or should i jump on it? It's amazing how quickly we adjust to what we define as being a "bargain"!

It is certainly better than what we found a few days ago...<b> but </b> I wouldn't assume that means fares are dropping..it may mean that sales are lagging for a particular time segment.

At least with this new fare you wouldn't have to go through all the hassle of changing airports, etc. and like it or not, time is money!!

O.k. now I find that I cannot get these fares through the A.A. site unless I access it through the travel zoo super search AND when I do a SLC search, it won't access A.A. So, if you try this, first do a JFK to destination search, then change the A.A. page entry to your departure city, and you will get the better fare.
