thanks a lot people!!! got my visa yeeepee and im off on the 21stof july for Amsterdam!! from there going to florence and then Barcelona ..

we were planing to go to seville but the tickets are too expensive so was wondering if we skip seville altogether and stay in Barcelona from 1st to the 8th of aug...(is that a good idea??).

if yes, then are there any nice near by places that we can go to for a day trip from Barcelona???

also where should we stay in Barcelona ....as in what area??dont want to stay in a very touristy kinda place also ...(just dont like to fell like a tourist )

if no?? then the plan was to go to seville for two nights so then we will have to look at some other train option once we reach Barcelona..we are flying out on the 8th from Barcelona for india so will have to go in the middle sometime ...

It's a shame to go all the way to Europe, then spend an entire week in one city because the train tickets are a bit more than you wanted to spend. Why not go Amsterdam, Florence, Madrid, Seville, Granada, Barcelona.
