Yes. I have been going to the Villa Rosa for over 20 years. It is a convent run by the Dominican Sisters from Ireland. Being Irish, they speak english. The convent has no curfew and is located on the Aventine Hill. The Aventine Hill is peaceful, beautiful and safe. There is a bus stop right outside the door of the convent. Busses 715 and 175 run from there to the Termini, Ostiense, Pza. Venezia, via Del Corso. You can't get a better location, unless you stay in a $500.00 per night hotel. Love it, but no air conditioning. Summers can be unbearably hot.

This post is 13 years old so not sure why you topped it. The Villa Rosa convent is not really very well located for sightseeing. There are 200+ convents in Rome that offer rooms, many are much better located than Villa Rosa.
