villa in puglia italy

Hello all,

4 women would like to rent a villa/house in Puglia for about a week; I have cruised this site and found lots of info on the area but very little on possible short term rentals . does anyone have any experience with this in this area?

thanks for your help

This agent was recommended on another thread--you might try contacting him if you like any of the properties:

Where in Puglia? (I have a home on the Campania/Basilicata/Puglia border and I know of a few Puglia home owners) Try the English sites too.. wwww.holidaylettings.co.uk , www.ownersdirect.co.uk and maybe even www.holiday-rentals.co.uk - should be tons of choices...Puglia has become a farily popular second-home destination

thanks casa, we are looking at between Lecce and Ortuni ( I think) we want to be able to do day trips from a central spot but wouldnt want to spend all day every day driving. We only have a week and like a leisurely pace and a slow look as opposed to a speedy pace and quick look.
Thanks for the web sites; if you know of anyone or any particular place, I would really appreciate hearing about it.

ekscrunchy, we only have 1 week ( we are spending a week in Tunisia first ) I cant decide whether we should stay in one spot or a few days in 2. I am leaning to Lecce for a few days and maybe Matera or Locorotondo. really tough to decide with so little time
