View of Eiffel Tower hotel

I am looking for a hotel in Paris that offers "the perfect" view of the Eiffel Tower. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Since no one but you knows what your definition of "the perfect" is, there's not much to go on.

The absolutely most "perfect" view of the Tour Eiffel, IMO, is from the balcony of the Paris Perfect apartment called "Bordeaux," but since you're asking about hotels I can recommend room #54 at the Hôtel Duquesne-Eiffel in the 7me.

I think the Hilton Hotel next to the Eiffel Tower has one side of the hotel facing the Eiffel Tower. We stayed at that hotel last November, but we had a room facing the other side. Depending on the time of year, you can get a room at that hotel for only around 100 Euros. Actually when we checked in we were offered to be upgraded to have Eiffel Tower view for around 60 Euros I think. Beware of the saying "what you pay is what you get" though. The hotel is old, so when we were there, the heater never worked right.

Thanks StCirq! I'll check it out.
In general, I'm envisioning a mid-distance view of the entire tour straight out the window/balcony of the room... but I'm open to anyone's input about their own "perfect" view...

Thanks to you too, Slau. I really appreciate the input on the Hilton as I was considering it too.

I'm not sure you'll find a "perfect" view from any hotel room, as there are always other buildings and trees in the way...

Many, many hotels in the 7th, 6th, and even some on the Right Bank do have substantial, unobstructed, views from the first or second level and on up.

I think the best hotel rooms with views are within Hotel de la Terrace (18th) and Hotel Splendid (amazing views) in the 7th.

There are also quite a few apartments with wonderful views of the Tour Eiffel.

Nearly all the Paris Perfect apartments have magnificent views - advantage usually from a lovely (though tiny) terrace with cafe table & chairs...

Lots of tour guides specify room numbers at various hotels with views...for example, Great Sleeps in Paris.

thanks djkbooks- I had been looking at the Hotel Splendid.
St. Cirq- I checked out the Paris Perfect apartments and you're right, they do have great views. Didn't find "Bordeaux" but they had "Merlot," "Chardonnay," "Cabernet," "Pinot," and "Beaujolais!"
