Hotel with a view of the Eiffel Tower?

In mid-to-late June I will be ending my trip to France in Paris and was thinking of staying somewhere around the Eiffel Tower and getting a hotel room with a nice view of the tower. Is this possible for around $200 per night? I would appreciate any advice or alternate ideas if you know of another location with a great view.

Before I figured out that there were myriad neighborhoods in Paris that were far more interesting to me, I used to stay often at the Hôtel Duquesne, which has at least a couple of rooms with Eiffel Tower views. What their prices are these days I have no idea, but it's a nice hotel.

Even though it is not really all that difficult, what you are asking is about on the same level as asking for a hotel in NYC with a view of the Statue of Liberty. Is it really that important?

There are hotels with stunning views of the Eiffel Tower at stunning prices.
The Hôtel Duquesne mentioned is a nice hotel in a moderate range near the Eiffel Tower. But if you look at the rate in your time frame, the room with a view is more than twice your budget.
You can find hotels in your budget with a view far away from the tower offering a tiny view. However, as others mentioned, at that point, the neighborhood of the hotel and the access to metros and buses are likely to be more relevant selection criteria..

Several Montmartre hotels, those on the hill facing south, have views over the entire city including the Eiffel Tower, a better view IMO, and significantly better value (again, IMO).

We stayed at The Muguet in a room with a fantastic view of the Eiffel Tower. I don’t know the current rates, but we loved our room there!

In mid June the Muguet charges more than $300 per night for view rooms and that is the non-refundable rate. Less for 'classic' (read small) rooms with no view - a little over $200

It does look like most good hotels are asking about $300 a night - that's a bit steep for 4 nights.

Janisj—that is about where I figured the rates would be but thought I would give the OP the suggestion and they can determine if it’s worth it to them or not.

Just make sure your hotel has Aircon that time of the year.

We stayed several times at the Best Western Au Trocadero and had a nice view of the tower. I don't know what the summer rates are, but it is close to a Metro stop, and you can have your classic selfie looking down over tower from the plaza.

For June, 180€ (about $200) is not going to provide a lot of options for finding a room with an ET view. Just to give you an idea, rooms with ET views for a June stay at the Pullman Eiffel Tower are around 400€ per night which is the cheaper, non-refundable rate.

You might find what you are looking for but you may need to augment your budget.

Hi TheModoc,

You could try looking in the 15th, which is on the "wrong" side of the Champs de Mars. For instance, there is the First Hotel Paris Tour Eiffel, which shows doubles w/ Eiffel Tower view at booking.com for about 205€ per night.

There is also the Hotel Parisis, which shows ET view doubles at about 234€ per night. Not exactly in your budget, but not far above. I did those searches for 24-28 June.

You may want to do a search at Google maps for hotels near Champs de Mars -- and look especially to the left of the gardens.

Have fun as you plan!

Thanks, some good suggestions here!I'll either up the hotel budget or we'll stay around Montmartre.
