$200 or under, and there are 3 of us. My son is OK to sleep on a sleeper sofa but a bed for him would always be nice. That's about it, except quiet, clean and not far from central Vienna.

Have you looked at VRBOt, for example? Apartments within the "Ringstrasse" (Inner Stadt) will be centrally located. Other neighborhoods may work, as well: Leopoldstadt, Wieden, Landstrasse, and Josefstadt (depending on location). If you can identify a couple of places, fellow travelers can offer their impressions.
Happy Planning!

It's been a few years, but the location is great, and it's pleasant and charming inside:

Central doesn't necessarily translate into quiet, but we stayed here overlooking the Stephansdom. Steps from the underground and walkable to many of the main sights.
