Verona Day Trip

I'm planning to stop in Verona while traveling between Venice and Florence. How much time do I need to see the main attractions? I want to at least stop by Juliet's balcony, even though I know it's not real...my daughter is very fond of Romeo and Juliet. What are the must sees there? I'll be limited by train schedules. Looks like I have two options: 4 1/2 hrs and 6 hrs.

We stopped in Verona several years ago on our way from Milan to Venice. We had just about 3 hours and were able to have a nice lunch in Piazza Bra and then climb to the top of the Arena. We didn't make it to see Juliet's balcony but you probably could with the time you have. It was fun - glad we stopped there!

I lived in Verona for two years, its a beautiful city and its easy to see its sights like Juliets Balcony and the Markets and the arena. I would have suggested other things but you only have 4 hours...

Thx jimbob,

I could actually spend more like 6 hrs there if it is worth the time....I just need to work with train schedules from there to Florence.

Fill me in on your other thoughts!
