Venice trip
Hi,
I am going to Venice from Milan and am not sure which train station I should be getting off - Mestre or Santa Lucia?
My meeting point for my tour is The Venice Pavillion and end at Vallerosso .
What is the traveling time and distance between any of the train station and my meeting and ending points?
Appreciate if anyone could advise.
Thank you
Maidin

The only train station for the islands of Venice is Santa Lucia, located in Cannaregio, and it's the end of the line, the last stop. Mestre is the first inland stop for trains departing from Santa Lucia and the second-to-last stop before arriving in Venice.
Travel time from Ferrovia (Santa Lucia) to San Marco Vallaresso is approximately 35 minutes, but that depends on time of year and which boat you catch.

If by the "Venice Pavilion", they mean the Biennale, train to Santa Lucia, then vaporetto #1 to (or any that stop at..) "Giardini" (past San Marco and Arsenale). See a map. Calle Vallerosso is very near San Marco, if that is what they mean.
But it would make more sense to be asking your tour company these questions.
