Venice Transport Passes & Traghetti

Do the 3-day and 7-day Venice transport passes include the traghetti?

Thanks.

Thanks...I didn't think so...I'll have to use a regular boat to cross.

The traghetti don't cost as much as the vaporetti. I wouldn't hesitate to take one if it were the most convenient way to cross the canal.

The traghetto is 2 euro per crossing for tourists. Much better to use the vaporetto if you have a pass. If one does not have a pass, then the traghetto is a (relative) bargain.

Thanks...we'll have passes, so we'll likely opt for the vaps in most cases. However, if we have hankering to ride in a gondola and we might take a traghetto once or twice.

A few years ago, for a trip to Venice, I made myself a "Canal Crossing" map to carry with me:

I'm sure I'll use it this upcoming trip.

Giglio to Ca' Rezzonico is one of the longer routes, if you are more interested in experiencing the ride.

For recent trips, as my knees age, a quick hop on a vaporetto across the Grand Canal instead of climb over one of the Grand Canal's tall bridges has made a vaporetto pass a great value for me.
