Venice to Interlaken Switzerland
I will be leaving Venice on April 16th with plans to spend the evening in Interlaken on the 17th. Looking for suggestions of where to stop inbetween and especially hotel recommendations for night of 16th. Thinking of visiting Bergamo & Lake Como on 16th. Want to stop in Zermatt and not sure where else on 17th. thanks in advance

Rob - If you're thinking of going all the way to Zermatt there's no way you can see both Bergamo and Lake Como en route as well, I think ...
If you don't want to stay overnight on Lake Como or Stresa, an attractive alternative might be Lugano. Otherwise ... Milan?

Bob,
I will be traveling by car. Direct route isn't as important as scenic route
. I will be staying 3 nights in Lauterbrunnen so I will have plenty of time to explore the
Berner Oberland.
