Venice to Florence train
Do trains between venice and florence need to be booked in advance? I will be going to venice in july. I dont plan to stay there overnite but spend most of my day there. so i am not sure when i am gonna leave. I am concerened since July is peak travel time, i dont want to be stranded without a hotel. thanks

Have you checked when the trains actually run the day you need? Just buy a ticket for the last train. I am willing to take bets that you'll fill the day in Venice.
I WOULD, however, book your Florence hotel ahead of time. Just let them know you'll be arriving late.
