I don't know that! I'm simply not regularly enough in Rome to be as familiar with it as with Venice (which I could almost call my second home already).

My family and I are planning to stay in an apartment in Venice from Saturday evening to Tuesday. This thread has been extremely helpful!

hi jmcdo,

if you enter the address of your apartment on google maps, you can then enter supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, etc. in the "businesses" box, and find where the nearest ones are.

you could ask the owner/agent of the apartment where would be open on Sat night/sunday morning, or ask them to to get in few items to tide you over.

have a great trip

regards, ann
