We are thinking of flying into Venice for 3 days. Plan to stay in San Marco. How to get from airport to hotel without a hassle? We will have been on a two week cruise beforehand… so several suitcases. We are a couple retired and active. Good location for hotel… specific hotel? What not to miss? What to miss? All ideas welcome especially if you have been there recently. 😊 Thanks

Luggage is a hassle, especially in Venice, so you may wish to consider leaving all bar one case at the luggage facility at the train station.

For transport from the airport, there are the options of bus to Piazzale Roma then vaporetto or walk, or Alilaguna, or private water taxi.
