Venetian Christmas Trees?
As I went out for my last few Christmas shopping I thought about (I seem to think of Venice while I'm doing about everything
) I wondered if the Venetians put up Christmas trees in their homes and if they do, are they Christmas tree lots like here in the States...and then if so, how do they carry them home? One person at each end?
Does anyone know? I'm curious about everything Venice!

Here's a link to a picture of the tallest glass Christmas tree in the world -- in Murano, of course:

The Murano glass Christmas tree is actually set up in Campo San Stefano in Venice itself. It is then supposed to be moved to Murano, and the creator hopes to sell it eventually for an incredible amount of money.

Thank you everybody for finding those articles and that picture of the Murano Christmas tree.
I just can't get enough of Venice...Tony Bennett may have left his heart in San Francisco, but I left mine in Venice! -
Merry Christmas everyone!
