Underhill,
Hope you are feeling better.
Some version of "you could visit the medieval town of Pérouges, used in a number of films, the gothic cathedral and Roman ruins in Autun, and the basilica at Vézélay," is now imprinted on my brain.
I'm a good student, have done all my reading about above places (plus Auxerre), and now my next-next trip to France includes that very itinerary. All thanks to you!

five weeks out from the shoulder break and i'm allowed to dispense with the immobilizer for part of the time. i also have dear little exercises to do, which HURT. not sure whether we'll be able to go to d.c. next month as planned, but at least i can now type with both hands. capitals are still hard, however.
