I hope they aren't sold out yet. The tickets for the Brussels concert were sold out in no time.

I'd find out exactly what time they go on sale and get online then. The first two shows in Chicago were sold out by 10:20 (on sale at 10am), and the two additional shows also went about that fast. We, too, shelled out $165 apiece for two tickets -- almost as much as one of those cheap winter fares to Europe.

I'm not sure if they will have the same stage set-up as they did for the Elevation tour, but when we saw them, we paid for the "cheap seating" and ended up in the standing room only section...about 6 feet from the stage "catwalk"!!!!
My ears are still ringing, but what a show!

Good luck getting tickets!! Here in NYC the tickets were sold out in 6 minutes!!!! 6 minutes!!!!! I managed to get 2 tickets but they are THE WORST SEATS IN THE HOUSE. In Continental Airlines arena we're in the upper section directly across from the stage 1 row away from the ceiling. At least I'll in be in the building.
Good luck!

Good luck!

Should be fun. I saw them in Dublin in the mid-80's. It was a blast.
IslandBeachAngel,
If you want to know why you've got the lousy seats, read the post three up from your post. When it comes to getting the best seats, still helps to have a friend in the right place.

Hi cozart, I live in Georgetown just north of Austin. The last time we saw U2 was during the Popmart Tour and we were at the Astrodome in Houston. It was a fabulous show. I am so amazed that some of these shows sold out in 6 minutes!! For those of you who did get tickets did you get them online or did you stand in line?

I don't know what the above website from myriam is, but they are on sale at various ticket agencies.
www.ticketnet.fr has them on sale and an English section, plus a seating chart which is nice. They say they are for sale to fan club members only from Feb 1 through Feb 3 (who can buy 4 tickets each) and then to the general public 2/4.
It sounds like maybe you should join the fan club pretty quickly. They are also on sale on www.fnac.com but that's only in French and just says coming soon or something--prices not too bad, though, 47 to 117 euro.

$12.50, ha! I saw them when they first came to L.A., in about 1980, where it cost a huge $7.00 to see them at the Reseda Country Club, a tiny venue -- no one heard of them back then. Of course, that was back when drinks were $1.50.

Hopefully I am reading their website wrong. This is directly off of U2's website:
2nd July Vienna - Ernst Happel Stadium, Sold Out
Support Act: The Killers
5th July Katowice - Slaski Stadium, On Sale Now
7th July Berlin - Olympic Stadium, On Sale 12/02/05
9th July Paris - Stade de France, Sold Out
13th July Amsterdam – Arena, Sold Out
If the tickets are not even on sale, how can they already be sold out??? Here is a link to their website:

collegetravelers, I could be wrong on this but U2.com offers presale tickets to people who are members of their website. I think some of dates with sold out are for presale tickets. Larry Mullen wrote in an apology for the members who were unable to get tickets. I presume people thought it would be "a done deal" if they paid money to be members. Good luck! They should have a second leg of their tour in North America in the fall if you can't see them in Europe.
