U.S. State Dept. Issues Travel Warning
I think this is travel related so here it goes. According to Reuters, the U.S. State Dept. issued (today) a warning to ALL U.S. citizens living and visiting ANY foreign country to be prepared to leave, or at the very least to be prepared and have all necessary items on hand.

I guess I missed the previous announcement by the state department that told us normally visitors and citizens living in foreign countries SHOULD NOT be prepared to leave in case of an emergency, and should not have all their necessary items on hand.

It's not a warning, it's a general public announcement. And most of it is common sense anyway.

It's here: http://www.travel.state.gov/general_advice.html
