Much as this is a nightmare, I can hardly leave my desk at work in the UK and bugger off home. I havent got a TV or radio at work, only the web. I am worried for all the people whos lives will be turned down. I was just asking for anyone who is willing to keep me updated. Kavey

Unconfirmed: Both planes highjacked from American, one from Boston, one from Dulles. One with 90 passengers aboard (the 11 to LAX) and 60 passengers on the other. Car bomb exploded outside State Department. All Washington federal buildings evacuated.

What did we do to deserve such mass terrorism? The WTC can contain 100,000 people for 2 towers when full. the 757s can take 150 passengers each. I dread to think of the casualty lost. God help us all. Pls keep the news coming. We are our own newslines.

How did both towers collapse when the foundation was not hit? The architect and structural engineers should answer this question. NYC looks like it has been nuclear bombed from the picture i am seeing from air.
