I just heard the news of BBC this morning. Current reports say at least 50 people have survived.

Dutch TV is reporting 4-5 bodies lying outside the plane, covered in sheets. There will be a news conference shortly.

Some planes are still landing at Schiphol using the other runways, but many planes have been diverted to Rotterdam. The motorways to the airport are closed to allow the emergency services access.

Hopefully we shall know more after the press conference, scheduled for 13.30 CET.

It is always terrible when something like this happens. My thoughts are with all those involved.
