Does this trip work?
16 Sept Fly into Istanbul . Fly to Cappadocis 3 nights Goreme (Maybe too long)
19 Sept Fly to Antalya 3 nights
22 Sept car Antalya-Phaselis- Arykanda-Kekova 2 nights
24 Sept Kalkan 3 nights
27 Sept Fethiye 2 nights
29 Sept To Bergama 2 nights
1 Oct car Bergama-Assos-Troy-Canakkale 2 nights
3 Oct fly to Ankara 2 nights
5 Oct Fly to Istanbul 6 nights

Should I break the Istanbul leg into 2 stays?
Thanks.

Your choice, but I think there are more advantages to keeping it as a single block (which is what I am planning to do on an upcoming trip to Turkey). Only 1 room reservation in Istanbul instead of 2, no need to get from the airport into the city upon 1st arriving in Turkey or to get to the airport when its time to go on to your 1st other stop (and less time in transit as a result), a nice long block of time at the end of your trip....
But I'll be watching people's responses to your question to see if anyone makes the case to split the time!

No, that is not too much time in Cappadocia. Keep your block of time at the end in Istanbul. That is a very good way to do it. We got a flight to Cappadocia only a few hours after our flight landed in Istanbul. It was perfect - no treking back and forth to a hotel that first night, just straight on and first night in Cappadocia.
We stayed in Urgup at the Hotel Esbelli Evi - fanstastic.

you plans would work however you are missing Cirali ( Olympos ) from your plans . Phaselis is about 20 minutes away from Cirali.
I would take one night away from Kalkan or skip it all together in lue of perhaps Kas..also Kas, Kalkan and Kokova are all so close together..I would choose one as a destination..perhaps Kas beeing in between and make day trips from there.

Turkey has dozens of pristine beaches, among the finest of which is Cirali, a long stretch of fine white sand at the mouth of a towering canyon. The beach, an easy walk from the ruined city of Olympos, is a protected nesting ground for loggerhead turtles. After dark, lights on the shore are extinguished so as not to confuse the hatching babies. On a moonless night, the view of the Milky Way is phenomenal.
Arykanda is a great spot however a bit out the way on the road up from Finike.
also 2 nights is enough for Antalya
you also dont mention Selcuk or Ephesus is your travels
for a first trip to Turkey I dont think Ankara is all that exciting..spend more time along the coast..much better scenery
27 Sept Fethiye 2 nights
29 Sept To Bergama 2 nights
Fethiye to Bergama is too long of a drive..stop in Selcuk and then continue to Bergama..more realistic travel times
there are no direct flights available from kayseri to antalya with sunexpress
pegasus has indirect flights through Istanbul ( via Istanbul - S.Gokcen )
you can also look at AnadoluJet and Bora jet..again not direct and of course Turkish airlines but they would be more expensive.
Bora jet goes through Ankara ( Esenboga (ESB) )
you could take an overnight bus from Cappadocia to Antalya..about 9hrs

Thanks to all.
I have already been to Miletus,Didyma,Priene and Ephesus.
We are not interested in beaches.
Ankara is to be a base for a)Konya-Catal Huyuk-trip by fast train
b) trip to Hattusa
Antalya - wander, Aspendos/Perge, trip to Termessos
