Turkey: Question about Tour Companies

My wife and I are planning to make a short visit to Istanbul in early May and have been looking at day tour options offered by Viator and Turista Tours. We have used Viator in some other countries and we've generally been happy with their tours. Turista Tours was recommended by the hotel we have booked in Istanbul.
Just wondering if anyone has used either company in Turkey? We want to do a walking tour(s) in Istanbul and also try to get out to Cappadoccia and Ephesus.
Would really appreciate any advice from Forumites on these or any other tours.

Hi

How long are you planning to visit Turkey. We did an Insight Tour - http://www.insightvacations.com/au/w...of-turkey-2013 - and can highly recommend them. I'm not sure if this is the type of tour you're after though.

I used Pacha for a tour of western Turkey and was pleased with them, especially the extremely knowledgeable guide.

We used Credo Tours out of Istanbul. Our tour was private and personalized for two adults and two teenagers.

They handled all our arrangements in Istanbul, for our trip down the coast to Bodrum (including Ephesus and all points in between) and Cappadoccia. Highly recommended and a little more upscale than the group tours you have mentioned. They will work with you and your budget.

We used Backpackers in IST. Could not have had better. Our guide, Deilet, even arranged for an emergency visit to a dedicated eye hospital due to an eye infection that developed on day 2. She stayed with us until after 10PM, interpreted, got the meds and put us in a cab. Certainly beyond the call to duty. We were with her for 3 one half days..super gal, super tour, super experience all round. In Ephesus we had 2 other couples with us on a tour (off a cruise) with Hello Ephesus.Again very outstanding. Did all the major points, including terrance houses, where the cruise tours (3 different catagories) skipped one or the other of a couple places. Lunch was included. Highly recommend both tour outfits. DH was leery of Backpackers due to the name. Didn't need to worry.
