tulip inn dam square

There are several Tulip Inns in the area. Are you referring to the one on Spuistraat? I stayed there a couple of years ago, and it was very good 3-star type accommodation. The breakfast was absolutely divine, even by Dutch standards. The location was great as well.

Tulip Inn Dam Square is not the same one that is on Spuistraat....The one on Spuistraat is called City Centre, i think, and it is situated on the Singel Canal...The Dam Square one is behind Dam Square on a skinny little street...I have never stayed in the one by Dam Square, but have walked by it plenty of times and it does look really nice, however, I prefer to stay on a canal...

hi, thanks all. it was of course full. the only decent hotel where i still found, by luck, a room was the Hotel Estherya. it is of course much more expensive. probably Amsterdam is no place for last minute reservations. shula
