Tulip Cruise
We're investigating Spring 2024 travel options. Many of our travel ideas keep coming up as "sold out." However, we noticed several river cruise operators (like Viking and AMA) show space available for the Netherlands and Belgium in Spring 2024. These cruises are marketed with names like "Tulip Cruises." We initially attracted to these cruises for the spectacular flower settings, windmills and the opportunity to explore the Low Countries. I'm looking any travel insights for these floral cruises. Thoughts please.

This might get moved over to the Cruise Forum. Cannot offer much insight as I am not a cruise traveler, but I see Cruise Critic suggested often as a resource for cruise itinerary/excursion opinions, carrier pros/cons, ports of call roll calls, etc.

You'll get more 'eyes' on the topic here but you might want to also post on the Fodors Cruise Forum.
It would help if you provided links to the cruises you are considering so we could look them over re sites, itinerary, and such.

Go to my profile to find “My Avalon Tulip Time River Cruise” from April, 2015 for a description/itinerary with detailed info on one of the day tours to Keukenhof Gardens outside of Amsterdam. This was a spectacular experience.
I would recommend Tauck or Uniworld as superior products of this genre, as opposed to Avalon, my last choice of the half dozen River cruises I’ve taken in terms of quality and ship personnel.
