Fantastic trip report Klondike (also the name of out cat!). I'm having a great time reading it.
I think you were describing the people mover or moving sidewalk? Have you really never seen that? They are in just about every airport. Maybe it is something different you described? Anyway great writing, thanks for taking the time to do it.
