Trenitalia tickets Vienna to Venice

I was looking at estimates for my trip in August and when it showed me prices it listed "normal tariff," "card price," "smart price," and "youth." The smart price is the cheapest at 58 euro for two people. Does anyone know what these different things mean and who is eligible for each? Can I get the smart ticket price. FYI, I am a 20 year old and I am traveling with my 23 year old brother. Thanks.

Normally you can book the low rate only 60 days in advance. You can book online. I was not aware that this price was available in the busiest season, which I suppose August might be. But I have taken that very train (February 2004) and paid only 29 Euros. The daytime train has some spectacular scenery, esp. as you approach the Italian border

How do you actually book the Smart Price tickets. I looked all over the website but couldn't find a link to booking the Smart Price special fare?? And they don't have an international phone number that you can call. I want to travel from venice to paris on the 5/28 overnight train and arrive Parins on 5/29 am. It shows the regular fare is almost $300 for two. Based on the Smart Price promotion, I could probably get it for 2 for around Euro 100, but I just need to figure out how to book the tickets. Anyone with successful experience to share? Thanks!
