Trenitalia - help please!
I am trying to purchase 2 adult single standard tickets from Florence to Venice for Saturday 14th April.
I have selected the 10.37 train from Florence, and filled in all the details including selecting seats (although not the field reagrding which carriage we wanted to be in) and every time we click 'submit' it just refreshes the page rather than going to the next stage.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what I am doing wrong? Have I missed something glaringly obvious on the site?! If we cannot master Trenitalia, is it worth winging it without pre-paid tickets and reservations?
Any help gratefully received!
Thanks

Thanks Sandi,
Up until about 10 minutes ago, I think we were going to do just as you have recommended, but one last burst of "I won't let this website beat me" from my husband has secured us the tickets.
In the end, it became more of a case of him wanting to win the battle against the Trenitalia website rather than anything to do with travel planning!
BTW, in case anyone is having a similar problem, his recommendaion is to use Explorer as your browser rather than Mozilla Firefox. Apparently it helped!
Thanks again Sandi.

HI Q,
A. Youu have to put in the number of tickets you want.
You then wait for the page to refresh.
B. You choose your fare.
You then wait for the page to refresh.
C. You choose your seats.
You then wait for the page to refresh.
You might not have been waiting long enough.

speoples,
I believe the limit is actually 60 days...I had trouble when I first started to get price quotes earlier this year for travel in April. You can see times, train #, etc....but not price. And you cannot reserve either.
quiUK,
If you actually tried to book your tickets prior to 2/14, that was probably your problem. However, most people on Fodor's just tell you to wait until you get there to get tickets and purchase them just a day or so ahead of travel, if not day of.
