Travelling by bus in peloponnese

We are catching a ferry from Kithira to Neapoli and then have to get from Neapoli to Kalamata to pick up a hire car.The KTEL bus lines website is suspended and I have not been abl to get any information. Also after we drop car back to Kalamata we need to get to Gythio by bus.

Did you have any luck with your plans? We are taking the ferry from Crete to Gythio and then need to get to Elafonisi (island off Neapoli). Perhaps the reverse of your travel. Any info you have found on bus, ferry or car rental would be a great help.

We found out that we are now able to take our rental car from Kithira across and back, so will not be catching buses. However I did find out that there are buses from Gythio to Neapoli- I think twice a day,

Thanks. We will try and get the KTEL info. Have a great trip--if we can repay you with info on Crete, drop us a line.

Question for VKP
We arrive Kythira May 19th to depart from there June 8th. We have not found a car rental company allowing us to take the car to the mainland South Peloponnese. Apparently you have found a company doing so; could you send me the details on this company plse?
