Traveling from Bibury to Kemble
I was considering doing a day trip to Bibury from London...sans a car.
I was planning in taking the train from London to Kemble and then a taxi 12 miles into Bibury.
I was wondering, is it easy to get a cab in Kemble? Is it easy to locate a cab in Bibury in order to get back to the Kemble train station for the return journey?

There's a taxi rank at Kemble, but there are rarely taxis there. Prebook from one of the companies listed at http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/statio...localarea.html
There's no means of simply picking up a taxi at Bibury. Book a return from whoever collects you at Kemble, or see if the nice people in the bar at the Swan hotel have any suggestions. I THINK the only taxi compsny in Bibury is Corn Valley on 01285 740070. With the distances concerned, the sparse population and the cost of getting a driver to come out and collect you, choosing the wrong company can easily cost you more than the train journey
