Travel to St. Mortiz from Milan
Hello guys,
I'm about to travel to St. Mortiz (Switzerland) and stay there for 1 night. I'm planning to catch a train from Milan to Tirano and then take the Bernina Express from Tirano to St. Mortiz.
The problem is, train from Milan to Tirano is leaving at 6:20AM and arrive to Tirano at 8:52AM, and then there is a Bernina Express train is leaving from Torino to St. Mortiz at 9:40AM... so I don't know that if I can catch the Bernina train on time? Not sure if the train from Milan to Tirano (operate by Trenitalia) usually delay or not?
Thanks so much for your help.
And sorry for my terrible English...

It's St. Moritz (spelling).
Sure you can make that connection, you'll have time for breakfast. Train timetables are synchronized, usually to the minute, so 48 minutes is an unusually generous break. There is a station restaurant called Buffet, or if you walk down a few paces along Via Mazzini there is another on the corner.

In order to make it clear: it's not a Brnina Express train, but just a panoramic car added to the slow train Tirano dp 9.40 until May 13th, when the real Bernina Express (Tirano dp 10.03, in connection with the 2nd train from Milan) begins to run.
The train in connection with the first train from Milan (Tirano dp 9.00) has panoramic cars until April 17th only.

You will be arriving at the Trenord rail station in Tirano. When you exit that building you will SEE the other station just a few meters away.
Unless that timing from Milano is WAAAAAAAAAY late there is no way you are going to miss the connection.
