Salon de l’Agriculture in Paris: foods, cows, orchid and Swissman

The food was nice but the cows were much more decent. I took some photos here:

The Agriculture Fair will last til the end of this week. You can talk to the animals all you want, just don't touch them (they are very tickle sensitive and their laughs are brutal).

I've been twice in the past and was fascinated by many things.

However, this year there is no poultry due to the bird flu epidemic. They will be hatching a few eggs at the show, however.

Your thread was great, kerouac. I only spent a short time in the Salon and couldn't see everything. No poultry this year? So that's why I didn't see any running ostrich in the Ostrich Hotdog stall.

You missed the Presidential candidates doing their electoral rounds there?

Blimney, Patrick, I didn't know it. I was kinda preparing for a dark age ahead no matter what that Presidential election turn out.

kerouac: some of the cows in your photos look extremely familiar, I think they went to Paris this year too, to live out some "fun". At least to be bathed everyday.

Sorry to miss this, I'll be there after it ends. Oh well, you can't do everything. (I have to keep telling myself this.)
