Travel Agent Help- Please!

I need somerecommendations for good travel agents that could work with someone who is in TN. I have contacted four agents so far via email and websites and have not heard back from one. I'm trying to plan our Italy trip and really need someone to help me directly. Even if you can't recommend a person, if you could recommend a company that would be helpful. I just do not wish to take one of those group tours. Thanks!

Hi! Have you checked the classifieds on Slowtrav? http://www.slowtrav.com/cl/short.asp?c=3&r=411
I have contacted Sally Watkins from the list and she has always responded within the day.

Good luck,
Susan

My question - WHY do you need a travel agent at all? Is it an especially complicated routing/itinerary or something??

If you are just booking flights, hotels, trains - maybe a car -- you can easily do it yourself

I was going to try to do it myself, but don't really have the time to devote to it right now. Plus, we have certain days we need to be certain places because we have a wedding while we're there, so, I need someone who can help me understand the logistics. I've planned every other trip we've done on our own, but I just want some help this time around.
