Remus - I "suppose" it would have been helpful if you had continuted reading the link Henry posted instead of repeating inaccurate information. It's as I said. Some Leonardo tickets bought trackside are for a time range. Right below where you stopped reading on the link:
Tickets bought from the ticket desks at the stations, railway ticket desks, travel agencies, enabled ticket offices and self-service machines are valid for 90 minutes and must always be validated using the appropriate stamping machines before starting every journey.
Online tickets are usually just a code, not an actual ticket and most Italians just have the code number on their cell phones with no paper ticket at all.

I've just looked at my actual ticket from September and it says at the top Leonardo Express 11€ and is good from/to Roma Termini/Fiumicino aeroporto or vice versa. It further states scade dopo 90 minuti dalla convalida or expires 90 minutes after validation. On the back of the ticket is a diagram about validating.
