Hi comayoeagle,
Yes, the train. There are a few direct (0 changes) trains from München to Zürich, then you continue on with maybe one or two more changes to Interlaken.
You can find all the schedules at either of these sites:
www.rail.ch
www.bahn.de
You can purchase your tickets online at the bahn.de site; if you purchase 89 days in advance, you can get a great deal.
Have fun!

Take the train. Depending upon the route, the standard 2nd class fare ranges from 94 to 120 euro. However, if you book well in advance (up to 90 days allowed) at www.bahn.de, you can get a Savings fare as low as 39 euro.
On the DB site click on the drop-down flag menu for English. After you get summary timetables for Munich-Interlaken Ost, click on the arrow to the left of each departure time to see the connecting points.
